Dr. Edmon Makarim, S.Kom., SH., LL.M. – Dean of Faculty of Law University of Law
Dr. Edmon Makarim, S.Kom., S.H., LL.M. born in Padang, May 10, 1970. Edmon Makarim is a research lecturer in the field of Intellectual Property Rights and Telematics, Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer from Gunadarma University (1988-1993), Bachelor of Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia (1989-1994), Lex Legibus Master or Master of Law from Comparative Law, University of Washington School of Law, Seattle (2002-2004) , and a Doctorate from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia (2004-2009).
He is a member of the Indonesian Telematics Society (Mastel) Advisory Council for the period 2012-2015. Previously, he was Expert Staff to the Minister of Law, Ministry of Communication and Information (2008-2009), legal advisor to PT Sisindosat Lintasbuana Telematics Co (1996-1999), and Assistant Attorney at SHR Law Firm (1994-1996).
